Marie Zolamian

Marie Zolamian (b. 1975, Beirut) is a Belgian-Lebanese multidisciplinary artist of Armenian descent based in Liège, where she teaches at the Fine Arts of Liège.

 

Her work has been presented in solo exhibitions at WIELS, Brussels (2026), Bombon Projects Gallery, Barcelona (2024); Jester/CIAP, Genk (2022); Galerie Nadja Vilenne, Liège (2019, 2016); Mu.ZEE, Ostend (2018); Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin (2013), among others.

 

Zolamian’s works are held in numerous private and public collections, including BPS22 (Charleroi), MACS (Grand-Hornu), Mu.ZEE (Ostend), M Museum (Leuven), the Flemish Community collection, the National Bank of Belgium, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (BE), La Boverie (Liège), Space Collection (Liège), the Province of Liège, MUMC (Maastricht) and EF Education First (CH & GB).


One of her major public commissions is a 76 m² mosaic for the peristyle of KMSKA (Antwerp, 2022), for which she received the Ianchelevici Prize for architectural integration in 2023.
